Philippines MANILA — LNG imports into the Philippines are expected to begin the following year, according to a high-ranking official from the Department of Energy. This is due to the fact that both the First Gen Corp. and the Atlantic Gulf and Pacific Co. of Manila Inc. (AG&P) LNG facilities are expected to be finished by that time. After the completion of the AG&P terminal in the second quarter of 2022, it is anticipated that the First Gen LNG terminal will be ready by the end of September of the same year, as stated by DOE Undersecretary Felix William Fuentebella, who delivered his remarks during a virtual conference organized and hosted by the Economic Journalists Association of the Philippines (EJAP). | by Danessa Rivera
